Helen is a Dorset artist, with a particular passion for creating portraits of people and animals, that capture the expression and character of the subject.
Following completion of an art foundation course, where she received a special commendation for her portraiture, Helen then went on to study in the studios of various local artists and completed a life drawing course at Central St. Martins, London , under the tuition of Miriam Escofet.
She works in oil paint or charcoal and has completed numerous commissions for clients throughout the UK, often working from high quality photographs. She’s exhibited her portraits, still life and landscape paintings throughout Dorset in recent years attracting much interest in her work.
